For my diptychs, I use two photos that I got from Balboa Park. I chose these two photos because they seem to have a good contrast with each other. The way that two photos have some sort of resemblance. 

For my triptychs, I use three photos of the fountain in Balboa Park. The reason why I chose these three specific photos is that I was able to capture three people that was miraculously somewhat align to each side and have a person in the middle.
